Honda s2000 engine/gearbox into Escort
I supply a dry sump pump and steel sump, you will need to sort out piping.
Remove std. sump, unbolt pump,cut off chain, block off std. oil feed hole, cut-off excess on chain guide, bolt on pan, my chassis mnt. kit is ideal for mnting.
engine in in the up-right or canted position, the o/s engine plate accommodates the oil pump,
Exhaust manifold, you can use std. one, you will need to lengthen no 4 outlet by about 1” then cut & re-angle no1 in to same collector, no’s 2/3 are ok.I do a kit of parts which give you 2 ½” exit.The engine produces such little noise that you will only need one box on system.
You can run std. induction or fit t/b’s or carbs, I ran 42mm Honda Blackbird carbs. On Bogg Bros. Inlet.
ECU. Emerald is the one to use, about £600 plus Gordons bit. You can dial the “v”tech out, if needs be. The std. set-up comes in at 6g’s upto 9200, which the road car is doing 100mph in 3rd, with another 3 gears to go.
